Thank you for booking your Pilates class or appointment with Centric Movement Clinic. If this is your first class, here are a few common questions we get:

  • We have Pilates mats for you—they are a little thicker than yoga mats. If you want to bring your own mat, you are more than welcome. Mats are not required for Reformer classes.

  • Pilates sessions are relaxed but you will be moving, so gym wear is best. Avoid belts, heavy zippers and other heavy metal trimmings which can be uncomfortable to lie on. For reformer classes please wear socks for hygiene reasons. Grip Pilates socks are available for purchase at our studio.

  • For people who have not used the Pilates reformer we highly recommend an intro reformer session. If you have used a reformer before we ask you sign a waiver before entering our class.

  • Socks are compulsory in our reformer classes for hygiene reasons. Grip socks are available for purchase at reception.

Tips to get the best out of your Pilates session

  • Arrive early and avoid the rush and stress.

  • Please provide 3 hours’ notice when cancelling classes to avoid losing a class pass.
    You can cancel through our booking app or call us.

  • Be present. Please turn off your phone and put pings, beeps and distractions aside.
    Classes are time just for you.

  • Let us know if you are unwell or injured.
