When is the right time to commence pre/post natal classes?
Before entering classes it is essential you book for a private consultation. Our Exercise Physiologist’s can assess and provide you with further information.
As a general guide we recommend after 12 weeks during pregnancy and after 6 weeks after childbirth.
Our classes allows women to work on individual needs in a small group environment. Elements of rehabilitation and fitness are addressed in the class. The exercises focus on pelvic floor strengthening or relaxing pelvic/lumbar stability, general strength and flexibility, and breathing. Ideal for women recovering from childbirth, presenting with pregnancy related pain or for women who wishing to maintain fitness during pregnancy and prepare for labour.
Being mums ourselves we understand the difficulties of getting to class each week. Our class blocks are not consecutive weeks. If you are unable to make a class simply withdraw your name from the class through our online booking system. We also offer child minding on Friday mornings.
